Details

The feathers around the owl's eyes are radiant, and the arrangement of small feathers forms a face shaped like a cat, hence the name owl. Its body feathers are mostly brown, scattered with fine spots, dense and soft, silent flight. The female owl is generally larger than the male. The head is large and wide, the mouth is short, the side is flat and strong, the apex is hooked and curved, the base of the mouth has no wax film, and is mostly covered by hard feathers. Like many carnivores, owls' eyes are located directly in front of their faces, giving them excellent depth perception when hunting, especially in low light. Interestingly, the large eyes are fixed in the owl's eye sockets and cannot be moved at all, so the owl has to keep moving its head.
